Is
a Governmental organization which does not aim at profit,
and is supervised by H.E the Minister of Economy and Trade.
Foreign Trade Center has
been carrying out its main mission of developing and
promoting Syrian exports, improve the competitiveness of
Syrian products. Penetrate the international markets, and
confront the economic changes arising from the process of
globalization

and Promote Syrian exports in international markets.
The
vision
To make
Foreign
Trade Center a
platform for coordination among private and public sectors
to create a suitable environment for promoting Syrian
exports, and developing business sector to become
competitive domestically and abroad.
Objectives
· Put
Syria on world trade map by linking it with international
trade points.
· Provide
up to date data base, prepare researches and studies on
international markets, and disseminate trade information on
FTC website.
· Promote
Syrian products in international markets, organize and
participate in local and external exhibitions.
· Adjust
the Syrian developing trade structure with international
economic changes. Help private and public sectors improve
their products and services according to international
standards.
· Facilitate
trade and overcome obstacles confronted by exporters through
(Rapid
Intervention Bureau for Exportation).
· Foreign
trade center continues its efforts to develop Syrian
exports, extend bridges of cooperation with international
society and built an advanced economy in preparation for
what is expected from Syria in the coming period, especially
the Syrian European Partnership Agreement, and joining the
World Trade Organization.
